Bonnie & Clyde / Thelma & Louise

There is a big connection between the movies (Bonnie and Clyde)&( Thelma and Louise), the connection is the view on feminist criticism. In Bonnie and Clyde the movie show these two characters that go on a journey together that eventually(*spoiler alert) end in their death. The movie captures the relation between a man and women and who has more power or control. Bonnie is this sweet sexually agressive smart women that like things to be the way she want them, and Clyde is a escape criminal that   has the charm, smarts and means to get what he need. Both are similar and connect to one another but there's a bit of tension of who's in charge , but both has a level of equal librium which make these two so easily to enjoy watching on screen.

In Thelma and Louise this movie is similar to bonnie and clyde but in this both characters are women and they already know each other when the movie start. Thelma is a stay at home wife that take care of her jerk of a husband and for her when at home she don't have any control. Now louise on the other hand is tough, with a job and a loving boyfriend and she is't afraid to do what she want when she want to. Over the course of the movie the both of them go on an vacation that end's up taking them on a life changing journey and along the way in multiple scens one of them is in charge, then the other is in charge. Even though in the end (*spoiler alert) they die they still have an accomplishment of wining because they didn't let the men around them control them and continue to have power they did what they wanted and died happy in the end.

Both films have feminist criticism because of the way both films portray women as strong people that shouldn't be taken for granted and should be treated with respect, love, and honor. The movies show that women aren't these scared beings that like being bossed around, but characters that can do what ever a man can do and sometimes do it better. Both movie's director's wanted the viewer or viewers to see what their trying to express that women are tough and can basically do anything.
